My son suggested it needed a shaker ....so we came up with an unbalanced washing machine motor!

I would really like to try one of these in perfect working order. The 2 that I have tried here locally were in awful shape. Never could get the ball up to the upper PF area. Go big or go home right? does that apply here?

Awesome job reviving a thread that was dormant for 18 months.

why, you looking for cheap housing?

If you are looking for a deep pinball machine, it is hard to go wrong with Hercules.

I played this game at the Asheville Pinball museum. A lot more gimmick than game honestly. I would struggle to give $500 for one. I probably couldn't pass up two for that but not for one

It's so deep that you'll end up in Narnia.

It's so heavy you'll end up in Hernia.

Yeah...everyone was so annoyed by this that they started replying to it.

I think it's a super fun game actually. Played a couple days on it with my nephew every day for a week when near Flippers in Grandy, NC, this past November. Like any old-style pin it "totally sucks" when you just play a game on it. But when you actually spend a few games, figure out the rules, and work on some strategies and start to score higher, it's fun and rewarding.

It was the first Herc in good shape I'd played and it was really fun. The only other I'd tried was the one at Hershey Park and it's not really playable.

The novelty factor doesn't hurt...it's QUITE a novelty. But it comes down to "was that game fun and worth 25 cents" and it surely was.

What will be more productive to Dr Frankenstein and his pursuit of Hercules; reviving a dead thread titled "Hercules on Ebay WTF" or "Wanted- Hercules on West Coast"?

WHO CARES?

We are all enjoying discussing the awesome pinball beast known as Hercules.

Have you anything else to offer us besides thread-whining?

I've wondered about whether to keep an old post going or start new. I like keeping info in one place. Obviously you want a Hercules, but I see you Reviving the old thread as a way to continue the Hercules conversation. You certainly picked a thread with a title that will get people to click.

The big problem with Hercules according to those that I know who have owned one is you get harassed constantly to bring it to shows . . . and it is a pain to pack up and bring.

So if you get one, be ready for it to travel...

Oh oh. ALL CAPS. Just to clarify what you are suggesting is I cannot be critical of reviving an old post but you can be critical of me being critical of someone reviving an old post. You're the man! What else can I say! Maybe you can play "price police" or "grammar nazi" on the next thread. You obviously have to have the last word so have at it.

I agree with the comment that you would garner more replys with your own willing to buy thread. Many won't even open an older thread like this with over fifty posts and won't know you are using it to search.

Just a suggestion. Do as you like certainly. Good luck.
