Was about to order from the store and saw they are gone. I'll be on the lookout for this weekend. Need one for a friend's Dialed In.

2. Timing worked out well, expedited additional parts just arrived.
3. I've added some inventory with a Monday / Tuesday estimate for shipping.
Enjoy your JJP's everyone!

Quoted from Neph:Backhand to the left ramp always irked me. It's kinda rough to go back to GNR after playing my Sterns. Would you say the flippers are closer in strength now to factory setting Sterns?
Stern flippers are pretty great, I’m not sure it feels like those BUT after playing more over the weekend I feel like I undersold my original comment. It’s such an improment… my ball would always go kinda slow up the right ramp before, but not anymore. It’s really, REALLY improved the playing experience. I was looping multiple loops w/ the upper right flipper which is something I was never able to do! Imo for GNR this mod is mandatory. I had a couple longer games and the flippers never felt like they faded, multiball was much more enjoyable. I’m super happy!
Can't you guys like, mimic the implementation to avoid shipping a handful of basic electronic components halfway around the world? I'm not encouraging anyone to sell his design for profit, just roll your own down under.
I guess I've just been in the hobby too long. "Back in the day" if you couldn't manage this level of fix, you basically couldn't own a game.
Again, no shade at all to the seller providing a convenience to new-schoolers. Get that paper.
Happy Friday!
Last couple HercuLEASE from the latest batch just went to the post office.
FedEx says parts arriving tomorrow so I'll add a couple units to inventory in anticipation.
For those of you with GNR, I suggest you get JJP’s new 3.0 game release and enjoy some pinball this weekend. It's great.

I am curious if this fix provides the same results as the new board? I love mine my sister came over and will only play WW, she put up over 20 million and was in heaven!!! Thanks again. She was so excited to get her picture on the stupid game, like a little kid!!!
How many of these have you sold?
More than 500?
I am so happy and love that new little handle attachment on the new fuse!
Perfection by a perfectionist!!!!!! Love it!!!!!
Quick note to say any orders placed on or after Thursday May 23 will not ship until the 29th or 30th.
Quoted from JohnTTwo:I am curious if this fix provides the same results as the new board?
I think the best answer to this is by reading how much people enjoy the end result with HerculEASE installed.
I try to avoid answering this directly because there's little scientific way to answer mixed with individual perception. I'm confident in saying the HerculEASE additional capacitance is essentially the same as the new board. Also, I have no plans to get a "new board" for my personal pins.

Worth every dollar..
Now looking for GNRLE to get back in collection because of this product

How did you get it? I thought he wasn't shipping overseas
Quoted from snowy926123:ok, first game, GNR, total difference.. second game, WONKA, all better, ... third game WOZ YBR< sooo much better.. would reccomend to all on the fence.. game changer.. jack should be providing this to all game owners as a fix instead of a 4-5 hundred dollar board IMO.. mark
Well said! I’m with ya. Just installed the kit on my GNR and there’s definitely a noticeable difference. Wonka and WOZ are up next.
Update: Installed on Wonka about 20 minutes after posting this, took 15 minutes lol.

Excellent to hear you like the kit. Thank you.
Quoted from AvidPinPlayer:Installed mine yesterday. Easy to install, zero problems, great flipper action.
Great news! Thank you.
Quoted from PanzerFreak:Installed this kit on my GNR LE, Wonka LE, and WOZ ECLE. It feels like new life has been given to all 3 games. There was always this feeling that the flippers on those games felt a bit weak with a lack of snap. That's been solved with this kit.
This is what I like to hear. Thank you.

Can I please ask, altan or others, if I installed and the fuses weren’t flush what would happen? Normal flipper operation or no flipper operation?
I ask because I’ve installed and can’t feel a difference. Maybe relatedly the fuses didn’t feel like they were in “tight”.
Any ideas? Thanks

I'll send you a DM to discuss further. However, to answer your question---
I'm assuming that "flush" above means "fit snugly" like you'd expect any fuse. Generally speaking, if the HerculEASE fuse wasn't snug I'd expect very poor flipper behavior or none at all. The HerculEASE fuse should snap in like a regular fuse. However, because of the helpful arm on the holder, it may feel easier to pop in than a tradition fuse.
Look for a DM.

thanks @Altan, replying here since I can't PM you pictures. But I think I have it done correctly (see pics) but if you look at the close up image it seems to me like the fuse is not as snug as you'd want (particularly on the right hand side)? What do you think?

I know what you mean by the fit. I think having the cable and plastic piece to grab onto does make it feel like the fuse can come off. You definitely need to make sure it's secured and that the cables are not pulling to one side as it can then come off. I just made sure that the wired fuse is lined up straight on and that there's some slack in the wire. All good so far here on 3 games.

Thanks for the follow-up and pictures. I've sent you some more thoughts / suggestions via DM. I'll make sure to summarize anything useful we learn in a post here.
Quoted from MacJedi:Has anyone tried this on their Hobbit? Did it make a big change for the gameplay? Thanks!
I put the kit in Hobbit.
It definitely helped.
I do have cooling fans as well.
Well worth the $
I recently purchased and installed the Hero edition for my Dialed In LE. Install was quick, painless, and dead simple. Before using it for the first time, I lowered all the coil strength settings back to default, just in case they were too strong off the bat. During the first game I noticed the flipper strength and the skill shot kicker strength definitely needed to be increased. So I changed the strength of those coils by one between each additional game played until it seemed good. I'm not sure if the flipper strength was increased back to where it was before installation, but overall I'm not really noticing any difference or improvement in overall game play. But if it's meant to provide longer and more consistent flipper strength, then the game should now be good for any lengthy tournament or on-location play in the future.

Personally, I noticed an immediate difference in my Hobbit.

Hey BriFi. Thanks for your purchase.
I've mostly avoided directly making claims about the impact of any capacitor upgrade, including HerculEASE. I prefer to let the community share their own experiences. Individuals experience the additional capacitance in their own way, perhaps based factors such as expectations and other pins played.
With that said, I have HerculEASE in both a Dialed In! and a GNR and could never go back. In my own opinion, the added capacitance for Dialed In shows up at least in snappier flippers, easier ramp off the upper right flipper and the magnets really throwing the ball.
While you didn't raise this, each HercuLEASE is tested on my bench before I send it out. I also randomly test them in my GNR pin and I enjoyed a few games with the HerculEASE that went to you.
There's not a lot of challenges that can come up with the HerculEASE installation, but I have started checklist of things to consider. It will be added to the manual, but I'll send you an early version. I don't want to post it here because I lose the ability to edit after a few days.
If there's anything you'd like to dig further into, don't hesitate to reply to my direct message.

I've soldered upgraded caps in my DI a few weels ago and also don't noticed a big difference with the flipper power.
Other coils like magnets did become more powerful.
It does seem to help the flippers when I have longer games and I did beat some highscores. But the flipper feel didn't change very noticeable.

Ok, pulling the trigger now. I was playing Wonka yesterday and was once again bummed by how half-assed the coils feel on this game. I love the game itself so hoping this is what it needs to shine again.
Just a quick note to say shipping is paused for a few days while I'm away. Shipping will return to normal on Monday-ish.
Oh, all orders to date have shipped and I added a few more units to inventory.
