the reason that I'm asking is that I've seen many playfields where 2 of the 3 points for slings are machine screws, but the 3rd point uses a wood screw (which doesn't make a lot of sense to me, especially if it's not a hole that is adjustable
I realize that this requires a bit more effort because now you have to drill a slightly larger hole in the playfield (all the way through) and potentially use a forstner bit on the underside to recess the t-nut if the area is crowded or interferes with other hardware
I have done this to a few playfields swaps. You feel more comfortable once done.
