Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Repairs and additions are made
Rebuilt or remade connectors
[quoted image]
Power tap[quoted image]
Speaker panel connector. Speaker panel now has the proper THING light board [quoted image]
The CPU wires pictured were missing the keepers so they were all individually reset and a light pass of hot glue is used only in the recess of the connector to insure that will stay put when the game gets folded up and travels back across the country.
[quoted image]
Looks pretty tidy back here for now
[quoted image]
It lives no false starts, tripped breakers or blown fuses so things are looking good now. [quoted image]

Hey Chris
If you ever need .100 or .156 IDC strain relief covers, they are available here:

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

The ramp lamp attachment is being done the same way.
There are some concerns to address.
Like the ramp they did all the ugly wiring right in plain sight. [quoted image]
[quoted image]
An all new assembly needs to be made up because there is a lot of corrosion on the sockets.
New parts and wires gathered.
[quoted image]
The new replacement lamp sockets do not have the same length and specs as the originals.
They are shorter and wider. [quoted image]
Because of this they do not fit the plastic as intended or made. They rivet holes do not reach and the holes themselves are not wide enough. [quoted image]

Hey Chris
I believe that the correct 555 socket for TAF is available at PSPA. https://www.pinballspareparts.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=24-8807-1
It is listed on the TAF Parts List along with A-12887 which just appears to be a 24-8807-1 socket and 555 bulb assy.
The pic attached shows one that I ordered from PSPA. 24-8807-1 on the left and the standard replacement available thru other vendors on the right.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Scared Stiff cabinet and head are prepped and ready to prime. [quoted image][quoted image]
The SS head was built with a floating back panel type of construction so I will not fill that in because it will probably crack during build up. Nothing wrong with it just a choice I make based on different build styles and experience.[quoted image][quoted image]

Hey Chris
Looks like they made the left wooden "stops" for the translight and speaker panel too long when they made the SS backbox. The hinges won't fit. Hope that they didn't glue them in.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

What is this type of wire/cable/cord called?
I am drawing a blank.
Looking for exactly this where it is molded together if possible.
If not I can just use a standard power cord but either way would like to know what it is called so I can source some.
[quoted image]

Hey Chris
It has been hard for me to find, also. PSPA has it for $2 USD. Pre-cut for WPC-95 pins. https://www.pinballspareparts.com.au/parts-by-machine/williams-parts/medieval-madness/5797-13940-02.html
Be aware that Aus Post has been having some major problems. My last order, Mar 29, has not left Aus yet! Last update was"Cleared and awaiting international departure".

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Yes that worked very well if you don’t mind a glossy finish.spending an extra hour or two and cleaning up compound.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Hey Chris
That was pretty amazing fixing the Mirco IJ decals. That result is what separates you from the rest. I'm really curious about the grit and compound that you decided on.

Chris, that Bad Cats is absolutely stunning!
Kinda' reminds me of one of the cars at Pebble Beach Concours.
