If I may recommend, the Bally logo would look good in red to tie it in. Love that lower cab color choice.

Quoted from yancy:

I always assumed those rubber rings were to prevent vibration damage to the lamps, but at the same time that seemed like a far-fetched level of care for a manufacturer. I guess they just didn't wanna stock shorter screws.

IMO, they also did that for ease of assembly. Probably had a team assembling screw/socket/rubber assemblies and putting them in a bin, then the linemen need not worry about steadying a screw as the whole socket assembly was bound together by the rubber.

Quoted from Kawydud:

When you are doing your touch ups like the one on Whirlwind I have linked, do you sand off the excess white that is applied, or is there some clear masking that can't be seen in the picture?

He's using clear frisket masking, there.

Maybe put the originals in a baggie in the game and put new ones on the PF?

I'd do orange pop skirts maybe to match the basketball if you aren't too far to swap. Might look good. Man, I love Harlem. One of my absolute faves.

Are you able to break the tabs loose, then re-position and use jb weld or epoxy to hold them? Not ideal for sure.

I cannot believe someone sent you a game with batteries still on the pcb knowing you have a backlog and it would just sit there leaking further in your warehouse. Ugh.

What's that transparent roll you use for masking?

Frisket masking

It amazes me when I see lock bar holes added to cabinets that came with lockbars from the factory. The operator needed to use his own janky one instead of the nice factory one provided by Williams? Jeez.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Yeah. Between the missing holes, inaccurate dimples, insert issues and clearcoat problems it makes you wonder if they ever check anything or even care at all.

Exactly. If I paid a grand for a piece of wood, I shouldn't have to do anything to it, let alone enlist your expertise. You do wonderful work, but you shouldn't "have to" on these brand new expensive playfields.

Hey, Chris. Could you advise what the exact name of that tool you use in your drill to polish the guide rails? Looks like a paddle wheel of red scotch bright, but I'm not finding it online with random google search terms that seem like they should make sense. Thanks in advance.

That definitely looks like it. Thanks.
