Question for you. Are these posts in real time? I was just wondering that as I was reading through the thread. I mean like when you clear coat, and every day there is progress, is that like stuff that you had done already, or is it as it happens?
Just a curiosity to me.

These are real time. Since I am always working on four or five games at a time I am able to keep things moving.
If the playfield is curing for one I can build another,if the cabinet is freshly primed I can sand and paint one I did the day before.
Thanks for the reply. That makes these updates even more impressive (if that were possible).

It's one thing to be good at clear coating
It's one thing to be good at wiring
It's one thing to be good at cabinet restoration / decals
It's one thing to be good at choosing good beer
It's another level altogether to be good at ALL these things!

Part of the problem is the condition but honestly most of it is my own OCD.
When I see a rusty socket I want to replace them all.

When I use new wire then so want to make sure it can’t short any possible way do I need protection

When I put those protections in place then I have to make sure they stay put so I need zip ties.

Then if I go through all that I may as well make it easier to mate back into the main harness so I need a plug.

But what if someone else plugs it in wrong?Need to make sure that is impossible so I need to make a different scheme for the plug

You get the idea I am sure and this is happening at every single socket ,switch ,and coil. It’s the difference in doing it in 30 hours or 60 but it isn’t always noticed or appreciated.[quoted image][quoted image]
