Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Nothing special on this one. I did the silver one and that was fun.

I would really like to a white and black one(white main color, black art ,red where originally red) but no takers so far.

Chris, it’s Richard. I believe this to be my Centaur. Go ahead and do the white Centaur color scheme. Thanks

Look at that beefcake! Steaks look good too

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

We just did beat the rain.
[quoted image]
I am really glad to see it though because it will make tonight’s fireworks a bit safer.
Now for dessert

Man, that black mini is cooler than a polar bears toenails

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

The TZ mini has been completely reworked with a brand new harness
First the switch [quoted image][quoted image]
Then the opto. The white housings we’re swapped for black to complete the look. [quoted image]
[quoted image]
It got pretty late so I missed taking pictures of the lamp and solenoid individually.
[quoted image]
This wiring is much more simplified and neater than the original but most importantly it is much longer and will be easier to fish through when mounting on the game. [quoted image]
[quoted image]
Mini is ready to install[quoted image]

I love Centaur. It reminds me of High School and my underachieving, acid dropping, metalhead friends. And seeing this beautiful example and knowing it is coming home to me, makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

Thanks, Chris looking amazing

That’s one of the roughest cabs I’ve seen in this thread.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

That other stuff brewing in the background I have a TOTAN that I need to complete before the snow starts to fall in Buffalo
The cabinet is painted and playfield clear so I can bring the game in to see what I have to work with.
Missing a chock so it has the gangsta lean. [quoted image]
Cabinet is trash and probably was from day one with so many voids in the plys so close to the surface. [quoted image]
[quoted image]
The other stuff is just icing on the cake

That Farhom has me drooling

Quoted from yancy:

A birthday meal fit for the undisputed king of pinball restoration. That lobster roll had me drooling!

#4957 4 years ago

That is very close to original looking!!

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Now unmasked and we are ready for the final clear.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

From what I understand, Tony Hawk’s likeness was used. It would make sense that the gear was his, too.

This is the original ‘Tony Hawk Pro Skater’

Quoted from cjchand:

Let's see how much of my old skater knowledge I can dredge up here.
Deck looks to be a Powell-Peralta of some sort. Gonna be safe and guess a Tony Hawk.
Wheels are clearly Bones.s
Trucks are likely Indy's.
Am I close?

The pink Lance Mountain deck was my first pro deck in the late 80’s.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Lance Mountain and Tommy G(can’t spell the last name from memory)

TOM is the only playfield I ever sent back. I wasn’t happy with it at all. So I sold the game I was going to restore. I’m glad to hear there’s an improved version

I detect a briney note in the air.

Not such a bad way to end the year. With Centaur and Fathom back home.

Quoted from littlecammi:

I'm wondering how a kid who is deaf, dumb and blind can enjoy their beauty?
I guess HEP games must also feel great to the touch.

I admire and play by sense of smell.
