On the Centaur era games powder and plating look great but it usually makes reassembly and durability a nightmare.
The biggest issue is usually the coin doors and hinges.
The doors rarely fit together or operate properly after plating or powder and the often start chipping at the hinge after a few open and closes. Just too tight.
I agree that Centuar needs some shine.
Mirror polished stainless looks better than chrome, in my opinion. It takes time, but the result is worth it.
Were you able to create a dimple map/template for the rest of the spirit playfields?
