Apparently installing this in the Fliptronic 2 board will stop the game from doing stupid ball searches when you boot it up. [quoted image]
Not sure about that but if it were true why wasn’t it installed? Certainly easier than installing decals and having trim powder coated

I could really dissect it but the main purpose of doing this is appearance and future corrosion protection so I would rather no risk damaging the threads for a slightly more thorough job knowing the location and purpose of the part.
How does that work if you ever need to remove one of the screwed on parts in the future? Does the plating essentially fuse all those pieces together?

Started building up the underside.
When I did the Red Centaur I realized how good the gameplay felt with the modernization and how easy it was to dial in. Now when I am doing these I can’t see doing it any other way unless told not to of course. I know there are some purist out there. I can deal with the traditional builds just fine but outside of that getting rid of the leaf blade switches and linear slingshots really tightens things up and is less prone to needed extra attention later. Some of the comments were just as annoying as the mods and I realized that I would be raising hell and arguing with people on there the whole way through it.
Not the best use of my time and resources so I will just pick a better project to focus on there in the near future.
To be clear it’s not them bothering me it’s me trying to be practical. I know how these things play out and the time that can be wasted on it.
Now I'm sad I missed the comments. Could've used another laugh.

The cussing in the videos kills me because it's so unusual. It just shows how passionate you are. Even though I may not agree with everything you say, you have solid reasons for everything and that's all that matters. Also, when did it become wrong to have different opinions? That's why they're opinions!
