Between your diet, workout regiment and quality pinball restorations, you sir are a pinball rock star.

Now what are we drinking this evening?

#376 5 years ago

The old baking soda in the back box trick, gets ya every time...

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

It’s 4:20 Friday afternoon LDSB by George.
Only little flight glasses are allowed this early in the paint shop.
[quoted image]

Good timing.

Had a large beer in my shop the other day while working on a pin project and I asked what would Chris do? And now I know. Pour it into 3 small glasses..

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Dinner time
Thanks for the crabs Wolfmancat!
I never thought I would type that but I really mean it. They are huge!!
[quoted image]
Also thank you j.m ratkos for the beer.
It is really smooth
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
The two James have contributed to an excellent and relaxing evening for me. Much appreciated!!

I only give my crabs to the most special.

Beer shipment 1 of the week has arrived.
[quoted image]
Most curious about this one.
[quoted image]

Aged in bourbon barrels... get ready for a real potent brew.

Fresh beer shipment
Thank you Once again James.
[quoted image]
Will get back to the TAFTC shortly.
I have started building up new coil assemblies from scratch. The new coils have factory like wrappers so I will stick with those siince they stick much better and easier than the PPS ones.
[quoted image]

You are very welcome and Merry Christmas!

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Stuffing is done
[quoted image]
Unfortunately Wolfmancat could not make it here for Christmas but he did send his uncle Jacob instead.
[quoted image]

Glad I could be there in spirit

Over at the warehouse
Pulling a beer or two for The weekend after deciding that Dryuary totally sucks and is not for me.
Had no idea what I was thinking there [quoted image]

I was wondering how long that would last.

#2028 5 years ago
Quoted from High_End_Pins:

High quality breweries understand me.
Alaskan fish despise me.
It is tough spot to be in so I just keep working on these pins to take my mind off it.

I think Curt from Nirvana said it best.
"And its okay to eat fish,
Cause they don't have any feelings..."

Thats how I roll.

Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Beer shipment has arrived.
[quoted image]
These are the ones I am most interested in this time around.
The stout aged in Cognac barrels was limited to 1 per person so that is usually a good sign
[quoted image]
This one is a question mark for me [quoted image]
Buying beer this way is kind of like gambling. I don’t always know what I will like or what I will not.
Sometimes it is the description that sells me Donuts, stout, skillet !What is not to like?[quoted image]
Admittedly I have poured my share of duds out even when it was costly.
This was also limited to one ,expensive and horrible. After the first sip I knew I hated it so then I would get others to try it like my wife, oldest son,his girlfriend and other friends. It was fun because I knew if I hated it they were REALLY going to hate it.
Had a nice sealing cork to prolong the misery but after trying to get my monies worth in fun I had to just accept defeat and pour it out. [quoted image][quoted image]

Donut Stout? Sounds like the perfect drink to have when you bust open the TSPP!

Need a HEP calendar featuring your playfields.

#2646 5 years ago

Hope all is well on the homefront Chris.

#2697 5 years ago

I love the upper playfield on TSPP. I'm in the cannabis industry and it has always given me a new meaning to the term "couch lock".

#2742 5 years ago
Quoted from High_End_Pins:

Playfield topside is as far as it goes for now.
Underside is next. [quoted image]
Feel pretty good about this jet bumper combo.
[quoted image]

Looking good Chris. Very excited to get this pin back home.

#2774 5 years ago
Quoted from High_End_Pins:

What an awesome day for gifts and beer deliveries.
I cannot thank James
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
and Vince enough.
[quoted image]
Great beers !

Enjoy! The 2017 LE is probably my favorite. Thanks again for taking on my TSPP.

Hopefully if we keep the beer flowing you won't ever just up and leave us.

#2809 5 years ago

Looks amazing! Very sharp.

Just trying to think of what to send you next.

I have a new CV and Totan playfield...

I hope so. James deserves it

Thanks Chris!

Best of luck at tackling that new equipment shed of yours.

Looking forward to sending you more pins in the future.

Chris you ever tried cooking your salmon on cedar planks? The smokey flavor it adds is just amazing. I usually soak the plank and defrost the filet at the same time. Throw it on the grill for about 20-30mins without opening the lid a bunch. You can even grill those sprouts you love so much on the same plank.

Chris, I'm curious to know, do you ever recieve a few of the same game from different clients after doing a particular restoration job? Do you get a bunch of emails inquiring about restoring a particular pin after sharing a finished job online?

I'm enjoying these Centaur restors. Just loving the finished product and your unique touch that you add to them.

Should stick to the beer. Too much Kool-aid is bad for your health.
