You need your own subforum! I quite enjoy this new format, not that I didn't enjoy the single game format, but it's cool to see your day to day projects! I'm liking the "bare minimum" HEP projects as much as the "ground up" HEP restores.

This thread just keeps moving and moving! I miss 2 days and there's 100+ posts! Really awesome to see the pf work done on Grand Prix and all of the cabinet rework done. I wish I had a 1/10 of this skill!
At what point do you decide to replace a cabinet vs repair it? It seems like you put a lot of work in repairing this cabinet. Would it not have been more time/cost effective to replace it instead?
Quoted from High_End_Pins:Now on to the TSPP.
Teardown has begun.

Never done one before so I will restore as I go.
I will do these two items first.
The backboard and the upper playfield.

This will be cool. Can't wait to see the progress!
Quoted from High_End_Pins:He started at 245
No set target yet. Right now the main focus is just to get his form right and making sure he is dedicated and consistent.
If we can do that then the rest should fall in line.
This is huge right here. It's an uphill battle in the beginning. Routine, routine, routine! You gotta get into a routine. Just moving is a big step for anyone that wants to lose a few pounds. I use to work out. Always had my set routine after work. I followed the P90X slim routine (more focus on cardio with some weight) and counted my calories with a food tracker. Lost 30 pounds in about 4 months, slow and steady and felt strong and did it for a few years. It was great! Then my wife and I had our first daughter, and man did that throw a wrench in everything! Late nights, early mornings, in and out of sleep every few hours at night. The last thing I wanted to do was workout! Dad-bod has now set in and just thinking about working out again is a big no lol.
I hope i can find the motivation again, but right now, it seems so far away! Curtis taking these first few steps and establishing a routine is so important.
Quoted from High_End_Pins:Curtis got his workout done today. I am not going to add these everyday but I want to keep him motivated early on in the process.
Knowing he has an audience really seems to help.
Today was HIIT(high intensity interval training)we have to be a little careful with his cardio so it doesn’t zap any of his potential muscle gains but right now we are just attacking the situation from all angles so we can build a baseline of fitness and consistency.
HIIT means you work for a set time all out and get a brief rest between exercises.
In this case we use a 1 minute on 15 second off formula.
25 rounds which equals roughly 30 minutes

Really proud of him today it was hot and it was tough but he never quit. He has definitely earned his rest recovery day tomorrow which is equally important.

yeah buddy!! I know I'm a few days behind but keep at it!
Quoted from High_End_Pins:Curtis keeps working at it. Down 5lbs already and that is without us really zeroing in on his diet quite yet although I see him already making better choices there.
Today it was hot
He can do 15 good push ups now. Before even 5 was a struggle.

I'm not sure if Curtis is looking forward to his HEP brand when you're done with him
