Quoted from lb1:Merry XMas to you Chris and thank you for this great thread.
You too.
This is a fun thread I am glad if people enjoy it.
Kind of random sometimes but that is part of the fun I think.
About to bust up a lobster. AFM style. I am prepping.
Merry Christmas Chris and have a great new years. Thanks for sharing so much of your love for pinball with all of us! Someday I plan to send you one as well - can’t wait!
Quoted from pinwiztom:Question?
Do you ever drink any beer that you can see thru?
Does not sound like beer at all.

I believe that you are confusing mr. hutchins with mr. bryan (bud light orange is the "best" beer ever created) kelly

Unfortunately Wolfmancat could not make it here for Christmas but he did send his uncle Jacob instead.

Glad I could be there in spirit
Even your holiday posts are awesome. Thanks for the entertaining and educational threads throughout the year! This is the thread I most look forward to on Pinside. Happy Holidays to all.
Merry Christmas. Love to follow this thread. You are a blessing to the pinball community. The best to you and yours.
Merry Christmas to all.
Not that it is overly interesting but I am going to catch the day up and show what Christmas Day looks like around here.
Started our day out the usual way.
Our youngest son is 18 but mentally handicapped so he is really much younger at heart and pretty small.
That can be a challenge but it is also still kind of awesome on Christmas Day because it is like you have a much younger child and the excitement for them that goes with that. He still thinks Santa brings the presents and all that. At 18 ?!Cool!

After that is done it is time to get some exercise. I skip my normal breakfast and just do this on an empty stomach or in a fasted state.
I write a random routine up

Now I am already bored and thinking about things I could be doing instead of sitting around for the next few hours until time to fix Christmas dinner.
Leaning towards wiring my TAFTC cabinet.

Where do you get chicken breasts with skin on in single packs?
Everything here is either already skinless/boneless
or if you want skin on with rib meat
it only comes in a jumbo 4 pack (Foster Farms @ Kroger).
We like to cook with skin on, since it cooks better that way,
then just remove the skin afterward while eating,
if you are concerned about that sort of thing.

We have Harris Teeter here which is owned by Kroger. I think only the SmartChicken comes in the single packs.
These are done.

Heat stuffing premade yesterday.
Gravy. Hopefully the chicken will be moist enough not to need it but just in case.

So do you work out because you drink beer.
Or, so you can drink beer?
Wife's on my butt saying that my new year's res is to go on a diet! She says she misses my old military bod
Only thing is, is that it was not my choice. The military does not give you a choice

I both workout and drink beer for my health and mental well being.
I enjoy both and both offer a health benefit if done properly.
On the workout side of things it is beneficial to get 30-60 minutes of high quality activity. Once past a certain point or threshold there are diminishing returns.
On the beer side it is similar 2 good strong dark beers are both high in ABV and more nutrient dense than general off the shelf in everyday beers. That is much the same as 2 glasses of wine. I just don’t care for wine. Past that it is typically diminishing returns as well.
They are also high in calories I would guess that I consume 750 empty calories by drinking those two beers so I make sure I eat right and get my needed activity to balance it out so I can benefit all the way around from the three. Healthy diet, exercise, moderate alcohol consumption.
On the mental side the exercise is a stress relief and the beer turns my always busy mind down a notch in the evening. Don’t want to drink too close to bed time though as it can interrupt sleep.
5-7PM is my preference.
Okay I have clearly put no thought into this

Better or worse?
Looks very nice keeping it original. The other one however is definitely the business! In fact if you did similar work to 6 more cabinets I would say you'd quickly sell them all.

Thanks.
That last one was pretty cool but words cannot describe how time consuming it was.
I could probably do it much easier a second time around though.
It did look involved from all your posts. If you can refine the process so that it isn't as time consuming, I'm sure they'd sell if you want to go down that route.

Don’t get me wrong, the quality of your paint job has no equal...however that last one you did, while time consuming, was a thing of beauty!
