Wow! I can't get over how clear your playfield window is. It looks like glass. Thanks for the close up shots of those silicon caps! Nice to see them installed in proper sequence too!

Thanks. I polished that. It probably will show a scuff here or there after a few plays but it is nice to at least capture it in the best form possible.
I found a good work around to the white bulb caps .As predicted the few I had were yellowed. It isn’t a common part here always an afterthought .
I capped everything but the white ones and used the frosted LEDs in natural form for those locations.
Maverick settled into a comfortable spot and fell asleep. Definitely a shop dog

It's a board that controls the LED bulb timing when they're put in old B/W machines (and some Stern) not designed for LEDs. Makes the bulbs fade on and off smoothly instead of blinking on and off abruptly. Fixes attract mode light shows that LED bulbs break. You can adjust the timings to your taste. Really a fantastic product. Worth every penny.

That is definitely your MRS.
it fit and stuck to the bowl perfectly.
I would absolutely recommend it.
So much better than the blade switch.

I noticed in your Addams Family Video Updates™️ that you don't recommend using a beefed up speaker in the in cabinet woofer. Curious which speakers you DO use and recommend as the "stock" speakers for WPC games, Pre and Post DCS sound board?
Quoted from radial_head:I noticed in your Addams Family Video Updates™️ that you don't recommend using a beefed up speaker in the in cabinet woofer. Curious which speakers you DO use and recommend as the "stock" speakers for WPC games, Pre and Post DCS sound board?
I usually use the stock speaker if it is there and in good shape on those games.
If not then the Flipper Fidelity standard speaker upgrade works well and is wired color/style correct.
Just the standard version though not the powered or ones with crossovers.
Those just don’t sound as good or better to my ears than the stock or simple versions.
There are probably lots of speakers out there that would do the job but I try to stay within the pinball community where I can.

Hopefully it will be more productive than last week.

Cyclopes project is a good one. I don’t dislike it on a personal level it’s nothing I haven’t seen nor dealt with before there.
Tough one to absorb commercially but a necessity if I want to provide the type of service that goes beyond restoring the usual suspects.
FH continued on today.

Knowing I need to install this as well as build a new panel it makes the most sense to put provisions in place for the mod.

I make two panels. One stock and one modified 32409100-21D7-4DF8-AA7A-6B6C720DDBBB (resized).jpeg
The modified one is for this game so I will concentrate on that here.
I did not drill any lamp holes that would be covered by the mod and I drilled it for 44 style sockets(smaller) because I will not be reusing the plastic ones and can’t get them.
I map out pass through holes for the mods wiring 7D58EF55-37FF-4C07-A78B-BD131519FF12 (resized).jpeg
Those holes are drilled so the connectors can easily pass through and the wiring can be run exclusively in the back of the panel. 24172BE8-F1CB-47E1-979E-4B2A4E7B8D96 (resized).jpeg9FBB077D-1265-4D62-B8F3-0DBB3E437A24 (resized).jpegFD315152-7510-4953-9CFA-97E448482106 (resized).jpeg
Both panels are then primed because mdf is porous and paints best when primed and sanded.

I had never seen that mod before. Looks like a must-have if you've got a Funhouse. Even moreso if your Funhouse is a POS in need of something - anything - good.

Looks pretty cool, but seems like it reads TUNHOUSE. Not sure why they didn't add 2 additional LED's in the F. Maybe it's just me.
Chris
What color ramps are you putting in SF? I recently did some themed vinyl decals for a guy who was putting clear ramps in his and wanted something to hide the coil under the right ramp at bottom. Would be happy to share files with you or send you a set if you were interested.
I don't have a pic of the decals actually installed, but here they are along with a pic of the test fitting on plain paper.
