You should get a custom license plate, “IAPTYWU”.
A few months ago a coworker had, “IAJTYWU” on his new Jeep. Took awhile to figure out.
It’s a Jeep thing you wouldn’t understand.
Quoted from YZRider926:Beautiful work once again Chris.
And who doesn’t have memories of playing Krull? They were everywhere when I was a kid.
how could a game where only 10 were produced have been "everywhere" when you were a kid? unless you're talking about the arcade game and not the pinball

I have a bunch of games to pull from the warehouse this month Cyclops,Tron,CFTBL,F-14,ES but best to bring them in one at a time no point in cluttering the workspace.
Looking forward to seeing Tommy, some people are bring some great small mods to the market place with union jack target decals, bat toppers etc. i know you don't do much of the ad-on stuff, but i've been enjoying putting little highlights on mine.
Add one more voice to the Tommy chorus. Can't wait to see how that one turns out. Sold mine before I got around to a full tear-down shop job. I always meant to replace those ugly, opaque slingshot posts with good fashioned yellow or amber star posts.
The IJ is ready to set up.

I like the black better in this instance. That’s like a $150 shooter rod but I just had a thought in mind for it so can’t really tell until you try and you can’t try it until you buy it.

Is the knob too heavy to actually use? I bought a real aluminum shifter knob to use on my high speed but was too heavy and would smash into the shooter rod housing too violently for my liking.

No I think it will be fine.
An original style weighs 4&5/8 ounces
This plastic shifter knob weighs 6&3/8 so less than 2 ounces in total weight.
I will probably run the red spring on it though to negate the difference.

I've never been a fan of aftermarket shooter rods, this is an exception. I agree the black is better, and it looks great! I'm sure you won't have a hard time getting most of your money back selling the white one here.

Thanks. I am not a big fan of them either. I always think the scale of them is problematic and hard to figure out even worse the figures, heads ,toys or characters that are usually used or sold because it is almost too much but on this one I just instantly thought a nice shifter handle would be perfect if I could find the right one.
There is a lot to consider when browsing. The thread size what a regular shooter rod can house and a few more things. Narrowed it down and came out with that.

Do you have the tub of Chick Fil A sauce they sell? That would complete the at-home experience.
I've only had Chic Fil-A a handful of times, but I made this the other day and it was excellent. The sauce was very good as well. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but my kids were happy.

Quoted from punkin:. . . weighs 8.5oz but feels beautiful in the hand.
That's what she said (sorry to derail the topic, but that comment was begging for it).
Actually, I just have plunger envy. I have 3 games in my "collection" (not sure that just 3 games qualifies as a collection), and none of them have a shooter rod. I have a gear shifter (Getaway), a trigger (DE JP), and a button (AFMr).

Puzzled to see what a brandnew TBL is doing at HEP
Or is it an addition to his personal collection? Does he have a personal gameroom?
Hope he is going to do his magic on it however. Would be interesting to see what he would enhance

This is a lot of work. I only did one so far and haven’t cleared it yet.

I like the idea and of course amazing work! Personally I like the cabinet to make a statement but the legs I like to kind of disappear. I like the idea of continuing the cab design around the corner but maybe not down the leg. Excuse my ugly paint skills...

I will be very sad if that lower leg bolt isn't painted yellow.
That looks fantastic!
Chris
Neither is my preference (I don't think you were asking) because the smooth surface of the cabinet sides make the rounded surfaces of the legs look jarring. I though you were just doing a small pinstripe down the legs which looked like a nice accent - different but not so "in your face".
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:I will be very sad if that lower leg bolt isn't painted yellow.

Giggle...
We will see what makes it on the game or doesn’t but I like the look and think as a total package it is going to work perfectly.
I still have a nicely done straight black set also.
A few years ago I did the wrap around only on a HG so I like to try different things.
I have each leg painted cleared and marked location specific.
Here is the HG with the wrap around legs.

Two of my favorite things about watching your post here are: You think "outside the box" and you are willing to "take risks". If I were a betting man I would venture to guess 4 hours labor (or more) into doing those legs (or over $200 or labor risked) on trying to do something different.
I think part of the issue with something like those legs is looking at the machine in person with that addition is going to be different than looking at pictures of the machine.
So in the end it really all depends on what the owner thinks but I love it. My only concern would be putting those painted leg bolts on - I know I would mess them up in the process even if I was super careful. Maybe a small bottle of touch up paint should go along with the machine just in case? Or at least some "spare" painted bolts if you still have the paint in your gun?
