Quoted from PinballT:How do you measure the resistance across the leads? Thanks!
With a multimeter, put one lead on one wire leaving the flipper button switch and the other lead on the other wire and then close the switch.
Not the EOS switch, the flipper button switch. If there is any resistance between the contacts, it will diminish the strength of the flipper. There are two wires coming from the flipper button switch that controls the flipper in question. Put one multimeter lead on where the wire is connected to the switch and the other multimeter lead on the other wire that is connected to the switch. If this is a stacked switch, make sure you have them on the correct leads.
Quoted from PinballT:It is the blue and purple wire coming of flipper switch and it leads to the connection on the flipper board. It also has the black ground wire connected. So I would connect the mm to blue/purple wire at flipper switch and then at the flipper board? Do I need to power on game when I do this? Sorry if it is a stupid question but not great using the Multimeter. Thanks!
No, connect your DMM to each wire coming off the flipper button switch and then close the switch to measure the resistance across the closed switch.
