Man I fix one thing and another thing breaks. But this one is keeping me from playing.

Ok my start button is not working. Button is making contact with the little white box that has the power and tiny button on it. I checked all the wires and they looked good. So my question is can the little white box be taken apart and looked at? This is the little box that the button pushes up to start.
Also as a side note, is there a way to start a game with this is not working? Can't play Oh it's LW3.

That's the microswitch. For the cost, there's really no need to try and service it. Just get a new one.

Do you have an LED installed for the button? I'm wondering because sometimes they can cause little problems like that.

No but since I had nothing to lose I removed all wires and re-soldered them back on. And it is working. Guess I would have been pissed if I did all that work and it didn't work but...

Well played Jgel glad it worked out for you! And thanks for posting the solution to your problem.

Thanks. I hate when I read a thread with the same problem I am having and then they never say something when it's fixed.

Well it's not working again Ordered a new switch. Is there anyway to start the game if the start button won't work?

a button is nothing more than a switch, which simply connects two wires to complete a circuit. I'm sure you could just short the wires together a few times (kind of like hot-wiring a car)
