The first one was actually the 64 Thunderbird, and 68 Mustang Shelbys came with them as well. Cougars first had them in 67.

Yes, and Mustangs never came off the Ford assembly line with Shelby badges on them. That type of turn signal was installed at Shelby.

Nicer that way, what is the extra space used for then? Still wish Mustang would make new design as 2 seater to see how it would come out, still can’t beat the look of a Vette especially the new ones. I have my 08 Vette as my first new car Still, and my girl likes the Mustang so this might be her option
