Recently purchased a Getaway (good not great condition). Played it for several weeks and decided to replace the 8 or so bulbs that needed replacing. When I finished with the bulbs the left flipper didn't work so I checked the fuses and it had a blown fuse so I replaced it as well. When I turned the machine on after replacing the fuse the display got bright and the machine shut off. Now I've got nothing. No lights on the boards, nothing. Not sure how to approach. Hopefully someone can help. Jerry

Check the main fuse in the cabinet

What is the fuse you replace rated the same?

Fuse in Main Cab was blown. Yes, fuses were identical. Update: Replaced the 5A fuse in Cab as it was blown. Now when I turn on the machine the display is garbled and all of the flippers activate. I shut it down immediately. Something not right.

Took all of the connectors off of the Fliptronic board, Cleaned, reconnected. Machine booted but there are still issues. See picture attached.

Pretty sure the main fuse is to be 8A, but that wouldn't matter now.

5A is what I pulled out.

Perhaps the display is going out?

If it is a 5 amp it may not have been converted back to 110V from 220. 110/115V is an 8amp slo-blow

try reseating the ribbon cables in the backbox

WeirPinball: 220 would make sense as this machine was originally exported to France.

Cycloneman: Thanks for the tip. I'll remove the cables, clean and reset.

More than likely converted incorrectly. I made a post a while back on how to do it correctly but it does take some detailed work an certain parts. I am not recommending doing this but at least you can view the thread to see if yours was done correctly.

I could be wrong but; isn't the fuse a 8 amp NB?
