I have a mini Jumping Jack backglass that I need some information on. Just trying to figure out if this was some type of promotional item or if this was used in pre-production to get an idea what the glass would look like. It's made of glass and the graphics appear to be on a paper that was adhered to the glass. Would this have been a step in the development of the game before they went to full size production? Hope you guys have some ideas because I'm stumped!

Sounds like a mini BGResto glass. He has done Jumping Jack. Maybe this one was a test.

Where did you get it from? Maybe you can get clues from where you got it from?

It would be kind of neat-o to have. Framed, up on the wall, in the Game Room.

Agree. This has to be new. Who would do all those small silkscreens for a sample glass. It has to be from a newer printing process.

CafePress reproduces licensed Gottlieb BG images on many products. But not onto glass, or even high grade paper.

i would buy a lot of different ones if i could pick the title
at 35-40 a piece someone could have a nice little business

Thanks for all the great feedback. I got it at a garage sale. I wanted to ask her more questions about it but decided I'd get it at a better price if I just kept my mouth shut.

to bad they did not have the machine that they had the bg made for..

I have a feeling this lady was selling off some stuff and didn't really know what it was. It was mixed in with some other artwork/pictures. I agree that it's probably some type of reproduction. I'm not sure if they could even print something like this on paper in the 70's. I wish there was some type of markings on it so I'd know for sure.

Where is the rest of the game?

Maybe it goes with Stewie Mini Pinball on Family Guy.

A nice $100.00 mod thanks to Bob Fesjian.
