    I was watching the video of how to install the color dmd but noticed my color dmd is different than the one in the video.

    Specifically has two ribbon ports that can be used. One says DMD one says LED. I’m assuming to use the DMD port and have a question if the red stripe is oriented correct.

    I am using the ribbon cable that was attached to the old DMD but the kit cam with a shorter ribbon not sure what to do with that.

    Please advise before I power up.

    This is the picture from color DMD instructions and it’s got only one ribbon port and is orientation different from the color DMD I have.

    The short ribbon cable is only used for Whitestar games to connect the Whitestar display board to the ColorDMD board. It is not used for SAM games. The DMD ribbon cable is correctly installed. Red stripe goes to pin 1 (closest to the buttons).
