Was playing a game on BSD everything was working, and then ball would
not kick from trough to shooter lane.Turned game off and then back on.
at that point test said grd short row 1 Where is quick place to start looking
I'm missing manual on this one Thanks

Most of the time, this is a roasted IC on the MPU. Next is the opto board. You can remove opto board connectors to see if the problem clears.

I think the manual is available at the internet pinball database website. Get it and start troubleshooting....BSD is a pain in the butt.

Thanks Chris I'll start with opto board and then look at IC.When you say
Roasted does that mean it's obvious?

Get the manual from ipdb.org so you can identify switches and connectors. You can remove the switch row connectors from the MPU to see if the problem is on the playfield or the board (can't remember which of the three was rows... check manual). Reboot and see if error persists with connector removed - if so, it's likely the board. If not, see what switches are on row 1. Inspect them all for loose wires that may be shorting. Check the wiring between switches for shorts.
