My MSF backglass has two runs of 44 lights (plus flashers). One of the runs works, the other doesn't. I disconnected the circuits from the powersource and found voltage on both legs - but when under load, one leg's voltage drops to zero. I traced the line and found a scorched connector at the PPB: notice the connector, wire, and brown on the circuit board at pin 1.
I don't know if those lights ever worked. So I don't know if this happened recently. I kinda guess that this happened before I bought the game. Otherwise the fuse should have been blown. My guess is, the fuse was replaced, but the person didn't notice the scorched connector. Maybe all the lights worked for a while, maybe the didn't.
My question is, do I dare just replace the burnt connector?
