Hi All!
Brand new to the boards & I apologize in advance because I looked everywhere but couldn't find an existing topic that could help me out..
Im hoping someone here can help!!
Long story short, 6 days ago I bought a Cyclone out here on Maui that had some issues but I've got it 95% working! EXECPT for one damn problem we just cannot figure out..
On the playfield my lowest 2 bumpers (in the orange triangles right above the flippers) dont work nor do the boomerang/ spookhouse ball return kicker/piston or directly across from it, the kicker/piston for when you dont shoot hard enough up the ramp. That kicker ball return won't fire either.
We independently tested all 4 solenoids by sending voltage, they all work! All triggers work, music changes, scores go up. You can even hear the relay clicking but those 4 just aren't responding.. checked all fuses, traced connections, just have done everything we can think of & cannot figure it out!
However..
Here's where it gets strange. In the head cabinet, here's 2 stray wires that sit unattached to anything & one appears to be the ground for that cluster of solenoids but we cannot tell where they go or what the hell they are run the way they are for. We're almost certain its causing the problem but again don't know where they go & don't want to just arbitrarily try touching them to places. We can't find any logical place they would go or why they are run so awkwardly & different than all the other harnesses..
I'm going to attach some pics. I marked the 2 errant wires with blue painters tape & then a pic of how they just run to nowhere.
The yellow with purple bands wire comes out the 2nd slot from the top of the J12 connector & runs across to the other side the cabinet & sits unconnected and the purple with black bands comes out the 2nd from the bottom slot on J4 & just those 2 wires are zip tied together running across to the opposite side unlike all the other wires and both sit disconnected..
Where are they supposed to go!?
If anyone has any insight or could provide me HD pics of the head cabinet of their working Cyclone do I can trace wires it would be so appreciated!! I want to get this thing 100%!!
Thanks so much in advance for any help or assistance!!

Ps- I'm a relative noob with at repairs but I somewhat understand electronics & basic tests so I apologize if my terms are off. If there's any other info or pics I can provide to be or more assistance I'd be happy to!
Sorry for a long post but I wanted to be thorough.
