I'm working on a project that requires me to make a "Y" jack to come off of a .100" header. I found a connector that matches the original to connect to the board. The problem I'm having is how to attach the original wire to my "Y" jack. I'm thinking about using a connection like this, from new Stern games. So what's the proper name for these connectors and the double end male interconnect that goes between them. I'd prefer to find a strip that I can cut down to the proper size that I need. It's difficult to order a part that you do t know the name for. Also is there a proper tool to instep the wires with.

If anyone has a better idea, I'm all ears.

    Z connector

Pinballlife has both, as ngoett says the middle piece is a Z connector, the other two ends are MTA .156 pass thru connectors, .156 is the size, you don't want .100 connectors, with the pass thru's you only need the T handle tool to push the wires down into the split connector.

Full part number for the 0.1" 36 pin strip is MWWS100-2236 made by Pancon.
    I normally carry these here:

And full part number for the 0.156" 24 pin strip is MWWS156-1624.
    I normally carry these here:

I have a bunch of both sizes on order. Like I said in other similar thread: Pancon said August at the earliest. I was told that some little company named "Stern Pinball" seems to be hogging them with an outstanding order for 15K of them.
