Hi! I found this post in the back of my recently acquired Space Mission. I am guessing it came off of one of these parts. Although I have been reading about this machine and have the schematics, I do not know the layout of these posts (is there another name for the white posts that go into these stepper units?).

Does anyone know if this came off of one of those stepper units and if so where?

That does explain why it goes crazy and spins past the highest number when I add credits!

This is my first EM and I got it because I like working on things. It just had spinning score reels upon start. Now it plays great! I think it is playing correctly, but I have to watch a few videos of other Space Missions to make sure all the features are working correctly. I do have to get the score reels of player 2 (stuck 10,000s reel), Player 3 something else is stuck and Player 4 doesn't try to reset.

I am finding it more intuitive than SS games after you find out where the damn wires go!
