I need some input, just picked up a nice WH2O and the black metal guard that mounts in the front of the topper lighting on mine is in rough shape, I don't even know if its the correct one or if someone made it? Anyway, is there any vendor that carries replacements? Any pinsiders have one that might be availble to purchase? Can someone send me a picture of theirs from a side shot? Thanks in advance for your help!

I've tried finding a part number for this in the manual with no luck. Mine has the typical wear spots where the PF is rested up against it. I guess you'd have to pull it off and have it stripped and powder coated again?

I think its painted, isn't it? Either way. Sand it smooth and paint it with rustoleum black metallic paint

Its not that it needs painting, it is bent and banged up real bad. Its falling off and it just seems its not what was intended to be on it. I would love to see a picture of one?????

It's in the manual, "waterfall light shield" (01-10889). I looked for one a couple months ago but came up empty. Even tried to buy the one from the guy parting out the WH20 on eBay a couple months ago but he was keeping it. I would maybe try to hit up Kerry at Mantis and see if he could fabricate one. It's pretty basic.

Thanks for the tip, I can probably fabricate one too but thought id try here first. Didn't realize they were that scarce. Thanks everyone for the input.

Don't fabricate it, make it for real!

You could maybe try Terry at Pinball Life. He knows metal fabricators. He'd have to have an original though.

Any one out there that could take a close up picture of theirs? A shot form the side would help me verify if the one I have is original. It's that hammered up

I could use one as well. Please let me know if any become available. Thanks.

I have mine off right now and can take it to a metal fab shop to see how much they will charge.

Thank you bballfan, mine is not original. I would love one too from your fab guy, if that's possible let me know

A shout out to bballfan, a great pinside member who I've never met but offered to have a sheet metal worker he knew make a topper metal cover made for me at a great price. Just got the package in the mail today and Its perfect, fits like a glove! Painting it tonight and installing tomorrow. Thank you bballfan! He went above and beyond to help a fellow member out.

I'm in need of one of these as well...been looking for one for over a year now. bbalifan, can you get another one made?

#15 10 years ago

I need one also so I approached bballfan but he politely declined so I'm still on the hunt. Anyone have a source for these?

#16 10 years ago

Shoot. Maybe that's why I didn't get a reply from my PM to him. It's bizarre that this seemingly simple piece is so hard to find
