Just got a Stern Rolling Stones. All was well but now when I start a game, the ball does not fire into the shooter lane. I can reach in the cabinet and shoot the ball up by hand, and the game works, but it will not up-kick a ball into the shooter lane.
Help? Thoughts? I do not see a technician alert. The trough test appeared normal.

make sure the game recognizes all balls in the trough with switch test. Make sure you have the right number of balls installed.
I do have the correct number of balls. The only switch errors I got were not switches "not used." I did the trough test and all balls are registering correctly in the trough. I'm thinking the upkicker - would that mean a coil or perhaps a fuse?

Use solenoid test and see if the game can fire that solenoid. If it doesnt work in test mode, first suspect a wire fell off the coil. I would visually inspect this coil. You may need to remove the apron to see it.
