I bought mine. I was hoping to wait a bit, but figured they will fill up quickly at the next event. They did for the Hobbit, I missed that one and am now in on the next one which has a long way to go.

Quoted from SteveO:Congrats! Which game are you choosing?
It would be nice if you could wait until Hobbit has a release date and is final, however you may be keen for the quick WOZ. Either way grats!
Quoted from Jimmyms3:YAY, its complete, now i just need them to
Great news! I can't wait to see kids playing these machines. Its about time a theme/machine came along that would be geared to a younger audience. It may be an older film, but universal and kids can enjoy the wacky characters like Slimer without having to know the movie at all, but what a way to bring them this great film too!
Quoted from Pinballlew:Seems like if you have to add a step to determine the winner that this would make the process not as straight forward as it was when simply just seeing the name being pulled from the drawing box.
Would agree, the name method had a more transparent and immediate feel, the new method doesn't add anything to make the drawing more clear.
That said, will numbers be sent to the holders in advance, otherwise there might be some confusion. That too seems like more effort in order to preserve transparency. Without some sort of advance notice, there seems to be a lost layer of transparency since there's no way to verify the list against the numbers.
To be very clear, I'm not suggesting any impropriety, but pointing out that the change might not appear in the light intended. It does make it impropriety possible and anything that creates that impression or possibility is a negative and should be avoided for those reasons alone. I recognize that having a (set) of numbers simplifies some work on the back end, but maybe didn't see this possible negative impact.
In the end we have and do Trust this charity, but thought I'd share what came to mind immediately.
