I was wondering the same thing. Trying to figure out what machine I'm going to get
WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!! Just got the chance to look at the drawing. Better to be lucky than good I guess. Thanks. Now to decide what game to get. Have to go play some to figure it out. Didn't think I would have to make this decision. Thanks again
I thought I might have jinxed myself with my smart@$$ comment. Couldn't believe it when I saw the video.
Are the fees a little high for what the ticket cost? Yeah. That being said, you buy 2 pro raffle tickets and pay and extra $8.00 for processing, and if you win, your pro just cost you $108.00 plus whatever you have to pay IRS since it has to be claimed. If that is $500.00, you got a pro for $608.00. Seems like a sweet deal to me. If you don't win, you write off what the ticket cost since it is a charity, so you get the money back at the end of the year. Also, what would be an acceptable fee? $5.00? So $3.00 more is going to stop you from buying a ticket? I guess if you need the $3.00. For full transparency, I have won a pro and getting an IMDN pro for $608.00 is well worth it. Pushing my luck to buy tickets for these and will probably never win again, but I'm ahead of the game. Even if I didn't win, I would still buy.
I do think it is a bit much since most credit card transactions are 3-4.5% depending if transaction is either with the chip, swiped, or number typed in. Chip is cheapest and typed in is the most expensive. I know some people that pay 6% for typed in card numbers, like if they take a card over the phone. Guess to cover for fraud. Then Rally up wants their cut to process everything, which I would want as well. I am not trying to defend the processing fee or insult anybody. I do not work for them or even know them. Just trying to look at it from a different angle since I have to deal with credit card transactions myself. If all the $50.00 goes to project pinball and the only money they make is off the processing fee, I can kind of see it. If project pinball has to pay for Rally Up's service, then it is entirely too much.
Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself trying to make that decision. I'll do it for you
