Quoted from GeekedOnPinball:Connecter replaced and everything is working now. Thank you for your assistance in fixing it. I do have one other issue now which is my trigger fires the plunger but it won’t fire my cannon. It will auto fire only. I tested the switch is by putting the ball in the Canon and it recognizes when there is a ball in there and triggers the switch. When the ball is in there the group trigger switch also still works. I just cannot get anything to fire the cannon except an auto fire.
Thank you you have helped me more than once. This is an amazing fun complicated hobby but I’m learning.
Quoted from GeekedOnPinball:I’ve done a lot more reading and playing around. It sounds like the problem is that when I go into the gun test mode it says not at Mark. I’ve searched here but I haven’t found good instructions on how to adjust this but I’m going to look through the manual and see what I can find.
Correct you can only fire the cannon while it is "at mark" - that is pointing towards the targets (it stops people firing the cannon too early and damaging the skull or other plastics). Before adjusting the "at mark" switch, check that the switch is actually working, as the issue is more than likely be a broken wire/solder joint or a failed switch. The switch is on the underside of the playfield, it's the roll over switch under the cannon gearbox. Go into switch test mode and check that the switch is working (you may need to firstly move the cannon into a position whereby you can test the switch) or alternatively you could use the gun test mode move the canon into position and then manually test the switch works. More than likely the switch isn't working correctly however if it is then you may need to adjust the position of the switch - the gun should be at 'mark when its pointing just above the top target and just below the ramp entry, to adjust you need to move the switch along the slot (allows in to be at mark either earlier or later).
