i installed these in my stern austin powers and the quarter kept going to coin return when door shut. seemed to work door open.

I have no idea how to adjust these, or if they will even work. any assistance would be appreciated.

Try turning that upper screw 1/4 turn counterclockwise..

Door closed mech isn't level, door open mech is level.

Won't help. That opens or closes the space up a little the quarter slides through. The quarter slides through nicely, just doesn't go towards the right spot when the coin door is closed.
