Tell him that you will review any posts he identifies, and that if you agree that a post contains unsupportable statements you'll either add a clarifying comment or ask a moderator to delete it. If he refuses, at least you can show that you tried to address his concerns.
I think this is the right approach.
Everything else is a pissing contest and achieves nothing.
