I posted some time ago that when I was looking up UV printing, I stumbled upon web pages discussing UV printing on wood, and all the stumbling blocks encountered. Along w/the proper UV curing, wood prep, probably ambient conditions, printing on a clearcoat was one option to help to improve the results. Probably varies w/the proprietary inks the printer manufacture sells too (it's not like you can switch inks).
