HELP!, My Pinball Machine Broke! I am brand new to pinside but have enjoyed reading all the great things that everyone has to say!... I bought a Williams Big Guns pinball machine and invited everyone over to play.... and tonite the up-post plastic thingy in the middle broke.... It is located in between the flippers and keeps the ball from going down the middle...

My husband looked up the part and say its: Green Ball Saver Post- 03-7257-11...

Please help me find one, My husband won't fix it tonite and he won't take my advice to put a bunch of electrical tape on it.... (he suggested that he de-solder the switch and put tape over the hole until he can get a part.... but who know when that will be... I WANT TO PLAY TONITE! )

You might want to check Bay Area Amusements or Marco Specialties to see if they have the part.

It broke as in broke how? A picture or better description of what it's doing or if the plastic piece actually broke then we can get further along.

Well Linda at least they're cheap and easy to find .

Order the replacement and just disconnect the broken one until it comes.

Tell that husband of yours to get with the program or you'll find a pinhead that can

I'm sorry I wasnt' more specific. It's the plastic piece on the up-post. The post still moves up and down properly (steel post) but the plastic piece shattered and I can't play it.

Thanks for all your help...

Damn straight!... We have a bunch of family coming over tonite, barbecue, beer and pinball. But the pinball is broke. He couldn't figure out how to fix it so I ordered the part from a place call 'mad-amusements' or something.... with 2 day shipping. But that doesn't help us tonite, so I guess we are going to go with his idea of unsoldering it until the part arrives.

Mine broke as well when I had big guns. I got some gel type super glue and it fixed it for a while before I could get replacement part. Worked great.

Unsolder it? I don't think any need for any of that...

You were right... he didn't unsolder it. He just unplugged a switch and taped it down for our tournament. It worked OK.. and the family had alot of fun..
