Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm used to newer machines where you just remove the glass and pull up the playfield. How do I remove the playfield so I can find the missing ball? Thanks.

Looks like he's linked it, I'm sure one of the bingo guys will know. I figure(d) the playfield would lift up like a standard pin as well because if I remember correctly there are some units in the bottom of the cabinet too let alone servicing the bottom of the playfield - but maybe not. I know the heads are usually jam-packed with most of them.
After you remove the playfield glass make sure the screws that hold the playfield in place located close to the edge of the lower cabinet are loosen out all the way. Then pull the ball shooter rod back and out of the way of the playfield and lift playfield upwards at the same time.
Be carefully of the shutter motor unit, cams and switches located on the reverse side of the upper arch of the playfield when lifting up the playfield. If your not careful the shutter motor unit can get caught on the ball return tray and damage it.
