I am asking for this help because what I have is wrong somewhere and I want it to be right. The components are stacked differently.

The lock bar has three buttons (Left, Right and R). Each button passes through the lock bar to activate a switch. These buttons have a lock clip, a washer, a bar (Left and Right share a single bar) and a spring. Because the Left and Right buttons were assembled differently than the R button, I don't know which stack up is the right way. I think the stack up (from button top below the guide sleeve in the lock bar to switch) should be like this: washer, spring, bar, and lock clip.

I am unsure because if stacked this way and the bar binds on the button shaft, both the left and right switches could be activated.

Help me here, I think I am going nutz

This image DOES HELP!

So the spring just slips up into the 'guide sleeve'? Mine had the washer on top of the spring. It prevented the spring from going into the sleeve. This image shows the washer below the bar before the clip. Hmm. Top of the spring all the way to the crown of the button?
