That HT-225D crimper says you can interchange the die set. There's even two screws there to remove the one that it comes with, but I have not found any other dies that work for this crimper.

The tool as is should be able to crimp .062 and .100 pins. I bought one to replace pins on early SS Ballys and it works great!

Added a pic to show the larger and smaller pins I can crimp with this tool. The design of the die allows you to crimp both the insulated and non insulated part of the wire at the same time for a great result.

If you already replaced the MPU with a new Alltek and are now looking into the power supply, there are other rebuild kits out there for power supplies.

I rebuilt a power supply on a Dolly Parton recently, which is the same era as Nitro Ground Shaker I believe. I used these kits from Big Daddy Enterprises for that which worked out great:

If you replace the header pins on the boards, you should probably also replace the connector pins on the wiring harness!

Yeah the header pins on a MPU board are usually thinner so .100, but I have seen pictures of people using larger .156 pins, but you might have to tap the holes a bit on the MPU to get them in.

Yes the HT-225D will crimp .156" trifurcon connectors.
