I've changed my mind about 5 times already, but I am down to 2 oranges that I like. I was originally just going to go with a straight solid orange, but decided I wanted a more metallic look. These are both metallic powder coats. Pick one. I'll let you know which pin its for later.

I like the top one better, I like brighter colors.

(maybe for a Flinstones? )

I'm afraid I missed that boat 3 years ago.

Don't we need to know this in order to make an educated color choice?

I still like the top one.

Maybe, but I just wanna know which orange looks better before I give away the pin its for. Otherwise I may get a bunch of "oh, it's for that title? I woulda used a nice green or red or blue or chrome, etc, etc, etc." You can amend your choice after I give you the title if you wish.

Check out "Orange Soda" too. I ordered swatches from prismatic when I did my IJ and that one looked good.

Yep, saw that one too. I actually chose Candle Orange at first, but realized that I wanted/needed it to have a metallic finish.

I added a poll if that helps.

And the machine I am outfitting is my Congo. My original idea was to have everything tiger striped by shooting orange powder over black (using heat tape to mask for the stripes), but was told that it would be too time consuming to cut out all that heat tape. I am doing all the playfield parts in a Candy Lime Green Translucent, so I wanted to use the other dominant color in this pin for the armor. I am also using a metallic black for some of the outer accent parts, so I'll kinda get that tiger look - if in color only.

For Congo I think the duller orange may be a better choice.

Yeah, I thought so at first, then changed my mind, then changed it back, then changed it again. I didn't think it would be this hard. (yeah, yeah, "that's what she said", I get it).

Top, bottom looks washed out to me.

Go with the orange one...

#17 11 years ago

Top one looks nicer than the bottom because it's bolder.

Sounds gross.. I mean that with all due respect, hope it surprises me and looks awesome...

I hope so. I think it'll look great.

It's OK Bill, it WAS a good guess. I am actually going with a light blue (like Fred's Necktie) on that one.

Yeah, I really think it will too.

Orange is not a jungle color. Cab has black and greens. Orange will clash. I'd get a green close to the cabinet art color. Either that or the top one.

Orange could look cool I suppose, little too much for me on Congo though

Congo with Orange...uff.

I have 4 orange metallic legs if it was for a stern?
