Way off "BASE" but just a thought.....
Maybe a Pitch & Bat. I find them a nice break from playing pinball and a lot of fun to work on so it may be good for you. Your friends will have a quick no thought involved experience batting a few balls and hearing the clink-clink sound you mentioned. They can even experience something similar to the dancing rubber dolls on your AFM with the running man unit backglass animation P&B games have.
