    Hello,
First post from a newbie. WOZ delivered to the UK and it is ACE! Small problem with the LED boards which is in the process of being sorted out - Lloyd is legendary in terms of answering emails. I'm glad that I have to wait for the parts since muscles were tensing up and work was falling behind!!
I suspect that this question would easily be answered by a quick email to Lloyd, however in order to help others that may be having the same problem....

OK - have downloaded OS 1.22 and the UNetbootin utility. Purchased a 8GB USB and formatted FAT32 to get rid of all of the utility software that it came with.
The UNetbootin seems to work and am able to select the operating system file after ticking the Diskimage radio button. The difficulty then arises in that the drop down box does not show the USB drive which is plugged in.
The USB obviously shows within the computer disk structure.

    Any clues gratefully received.

(BTW this evolvement of the software seems a great idea)

I think that I have grown a beard waiting for a response. It appears that everyone out there must be busy playing pinball rather than talking about pinball!

I have found the solution and am posting on my own query should this be of assistance to any others out there.

Apparently the problem lies with the 8GB Sandisk Cruzer that I bought. These USB sticks are formatted to be 'fixed drives' rather than removable drives. It has something to do with Windows 8 - there is further detail here if you are interested:

    http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12830

The UNetbootin program does not 'see' the drive as a USB drive.

The answer is (and I am thankful to my IT mate for this) is as follows:

    http://www.pendrivelinux.com/downloads/Universal-USB-Installer/Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.4.4.exe

The options were the last option in the first drop down box, second box is the ISO file, tick show all drives and then go for the USB drive.

Just updated the WOZ to 1.22 - loads of script on the screen which looked worrying BUT ended up with the success screen.

    Hope that this helps.

(I am promoting myself from numptie to IT wizard on the back of this - I am running Windows 7 if relevant)

Good to hear of another WOZ machine over here. Put it in a pub please !

I couldn't help with your question numptie would be putting it kindly. Did P H supply it ?

I didn't think you would have to buy ANY extra bits of computer equipment after spending about 8k.

    But enjoy it !
