I’ve got a couple of these that need replacing on standup targets on a Seawitch. I want to make sure I’m identifying the part correctly and ordering a suitable replacement.

I’m reading this as being a .05uf 100v ceramic disk capacitor. Is that right?

The closest thing I’ve been able to find at Mouser is this:

It’s a higher voltage unit, but that should be okay, right?

Quoted from chas10e:

.05Mf not .05uF

I thought the M after .05 was the tolerance? (20%)

Can you use a .047 like they use on Bally machines?

I could be wrong (which is why I’m asking for advice), but those are a lower voltage rating. I think you can go higher voltage rating, but not lower?

Yes, but these are for stand up targets.

Found an exact replacement (.05M 100v) on EBay. Thanks for pointing me in that direction. It seems that these capacitors are used in Fender guitars as well.
