Hi all
So I was changing the batteries in my Flintstones and was wondering what the red wire running from the positive side of the C-31 capacitor to the J-205 connector is.
(The connector itself looks weird to me since the connector has a mini board like "thing" attached to it).

Any thoughts?
The game plays flawlessly.

Quoted from vid1900:

Re-import game?

I don't think so.
Domestic game I purchased almost a year ago.
Seller said it was sitting in storage for about 8 years.
If it was a re-import how would I tell?
Side note- all matching serial numbers throughout except the fliptronics board.

Ah ha!
I think I figured it out.
Found this on PinWiki.
I believe it's a "coin doubler board" used by ops to double game pricing.

Quoted from rmarket:

Aren't they typically used when you want to set a game to $.25 a game?

I believe you are correct.
The coin mechs in this game are for tokens.
Guessing it was a 1 token game back in the day when it lived at an arcade and the op wanted to avoid having customers put 2 tokens in to play.

Edit: John explained above.
