Stern, 2016Help!! I can’t get my Ghostbusters pro slimer mech to work. I replaced the entire motor assembly with a kit from Marco. Still not working. I’m not sure what to do to fix this. I have had this game on location for almost 2 1/2 years and haven’t had any issues-
I have not called stern directly yet, wanted to see if anyone can help!!

Did you try using a 9v battery in the motor leads to ensure the motor works ?

no, doesn’t work in test. Have a brand new motor assembly so I assume it’s ok. Must not be getting power?? Is there a fuse or something that could cause a loss of power?

Yup, this is my suggestion. Gonna need to try the "node" board for the slimer mech.

I suggested to make sure the motor has not disabled itself in the GB- feature settings, #13. Not sure if Stern games do this automatically if a feature stops working.

I’m have checked this. The motor is not disabled. A few people think it’s possibly a node board issue

Ok, good to know. I believe there is someone on Pinside who bench tests and repairs Stern boards. Can't think of the name. Will have to look for it.

I would also check the fuse holder as well. Hard to tell from the photo (2nd one in main post), but it looks like fuse isn't making connection on the left side.
Looks like my trouble is in the node board. Unfortunately no one seems to have them in stock except pinball life at $499…does anyone else have these in stock???

How you know it’s the coin door nodeboard? Does your menu work with the menu buttons?
