I can't seem to find the "Autofire Flasher." The manual appears to be missing it (#24) on the illustration. Can anyone tell me where this is?

If it isn't burned out, go through flasher test and stop on that one and fire it.

Other wise look for a #906 not on the map. Under the playfield or under a plastic on top of the playfield.

Its either burnt out or not working. I've tried the flasher test, that's how I found out it was out.

Here's how to find it for yourself. "Autofire" is likely to be "Return to Duty". Look there.

Looks like there's a 906 socket there on the lamp PCB.

Looks like the wire colors are RED-WHT (supply) and BLU-GRY (drive). Consult the manual for solenoid #24.

We have a winner.

Note that the second image shows what looks like a #555 bulb in the socket. This is incorrect. Those #555 bulbs are for 6.3V circuits not 12V circuits. It is likely that the flasher installed in that machine will blow. Once blown, it won't flash any more. I'm not saying that is what is happening in your machine. I'm just saying that it is a mistake to use a #555 when you need a #906. Since the sockets are both wedge, this mistake is easy to make.

The thread title reminded me of a guy that I used to work with. What a creep he was/is.

You guys were right, I sat down and went through the flasher test and my machine calls it “Return to duty” but the flasher number matched what the book called Autofire.
