The camera is located at the very bottom center of the back box. Remove the the translite and you will be able to see it. Sounds like the aim is off. Possibly just a loose mount. But you will find out when you look.

Only had mine a few weeks, but after just reading the manual. Wonder if when adjusting face recognition if it Is more effective to wear a shirt that is dark if you have white skin or a light shirt if you have dark skin, so that the camera looks for the contrast. Of course this may be totally incorrect.
