I just completed a pretty major shop job on my Corvette. I was playing it a little today looking for bugs and found one. When I shoot the pit stop scoop it won't start a race even though the dude in the audio keeps saying "shoot the pit to start this thing" and the start challenge light above the scoop is on. It recognizes the ball is in the scoop because the upkicker kicks the ball up. I went into switch test mode, used a ball on a magnetic stick and confirmed the opto is reading the ball in scoop.

Any ideas?

I figured it out. I took the start challenge scoop out of the game during my shop job and tumbled it. I had to take the optos off to tumble it. There are three different positions to mount the optos, I had them in the wrong spot.

I'm just glad it popped in my head or I could have been chasing it for a while. No problem on posting the solution, wanted to do that in case someone else would happen to do what I did.
