I wanted to ask some help connecting an older DVD player to a newer TV. I have attached some photos of the DVD players available connection ports and the ports available on the TV. What would you suggest to use to obtain the best quality picture? Do I need some form of adapter? I don't think there is an equivalent to the yellow/red/white cables from the older style DVD players that connect to the TV. Thanks for the help.

Presuming the first picture is the TV, and the second pic is the DVD player, connect 'HDMI out' on the DVD player to 'HDMI in' on the TV. It carries both video and audio signals. Voila

Red,blue, green carry picture and some feel it's better than hdmi. Sound would be red and white or optical for best. HDMI covers both as stated above and it's one cord.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't notice the HDMI out on the DVD player. Thanks for the help!
