Signed. Bad policy is bad policy regardless of political persuasion. The one thing that can be counted on in this pandemic is unfortunately complete inconsistency. Relative risk has been poorly assessed across the board. I throw it out there that my little arcade has more real (not for just show) disinfection measures in place than any other business in my town. As best I can figure all the big box store just opened their doors and said come on in. Oh sure a few social distancing and mask signs here and there and maybe a bottle of hand sanitizer, but that’s it. Oh and for my kids baseball tournament this week “only” 250 people are allowed per field. Really ? Yes, really. Whomever seems to be setting policy in most places has very little understanding of epidemiology, statistics and infection control measures. And ok, if you are gonna have stupid policies that let some business operate and not others, how about some specific relief to those business who still have to pay rent but have no actual income to do so. Ugh.
