On some of the Gottlieb Em machines they have 10 bulb sockets in a strip, is there a way of removing this sockets and replacing them if one or two need to be replaced .

image_(resized).jpgimage_(resized).jpg I removed the 10th socket and ran a wire across all of the barrels
image_(resized).jpgimage_(resized).jpg then drilled a hole the same size of a barrel
image_(resized).jpgimage_(resized).jpg put the barrel through nice tight fit cut a bit of the lug off , drilled a hole through the lug put a
small bolt and nut in image_(resized).jpgimage_(resized).jpg tested all lights on the bench before
putting it back in the pin and lights 1-10 all working and alot brighter and thanks to all of you guys above for pitching in

    Quoted from dasvis:

Nice fix! Nothing worse than dim / flickering lights on the playfield.

Totally agree , running a wire across all the barrels is a good idea for ground.

Gottlieb should have put 10 individual sockets in, that way if one goes bad its alot easy to replace.

The sockets are all working good for now but if I have anymore trouble with any of them I am going to take that strip out and put 10
    individual ones in there.
