Hahahaha!
The fever is going around and infecting the DMD guys one by one!

Aurich, I'm pretty new to the EM stuff myself. Best advice I can give you is to try and play some EMs. Not that you necessarily have to buy the ones that you play, but they will give you an idea of what you like. Drop targets? Spinners? 2 inch or 3 inch flippers? Replay vs Add a Ball? Etc.
Wedgeheads are sweet because of the artwork and the shape of the head. Very appealing lines. But the Wedgeheads are single players. That's fine, but some EM's are superb for multi player games as they tend to have short ball times.
Good luck, and most of all, enjoy the hunt!
Quoted from o-din:I sure hope I had nothing to do with all this foolishness.
You damn well know you had everything to do with it!
Quoted from Rarehero:I'm 100% immune.
Good! We don't need any more competition for nice EMs in SoCal!
Quoted from Aurich:Thanks man, I'll have to make a trip out to play with you and Nimble.
What am I? Chopped liver?
Quoted from Rat_Tomago:Aurich, judging by the games you have you would be bored shitless of an EM of any type after about a week. Play them at O-din's place before you take the plunge. It's like buying a 72 Camaro just because it looks cool in your driveway. You have to want to drive it.
I have to disagree with this.
If you looked at my collection (current and past) you would have said the same thing to me about being bored shitless of an EM after a week, and that has not turned out to be the case at all.
In fact, quite the opposite. Even though I am buying TWD LE, I have sold 3 DMDs, and I have added 2 EM's, with one more EM coming. And I am scouring CL every day for another EM.
Aurich has played EMs, and in fact it was after he played a super nice Bank a Ball that he was hooked enough to want one.
Quoted from Aurich:Thanks to boilerman I have an Abra Ca Dabra on its way to me. Already ordered new plastics and an apron decal from Pinball Rescue and I'm on the waiting list for the new Webb backglass.
I'll post pics once I get it all set.
But..but..."there's nothing to do"!
Congrats!
Oh, and....dibs!
Quoted from Aurich:Those are all titles that would be on my short list for a second game.
And so it begins.
Quoted from Chippewa-Pin:I just love that there's little (if any) drama in the EM subforum. It's like a different site!
Truer words have never been spoken!
Quoted from hoov:This flipper is too low because you used the lower wire guide as a reference. I use the lane wire guide as my reference.
Exactly.
The wrong wire guide was used as the reference.
Quoted from o-din:Many of my guests are now gravitating to them instead of the newer ones.
I'm trying to remember the last time I was there when I spent more time on your DMDs than your EMs?
